APPEAL – Ganeshotsav 2021

At the very onset, we hope that all of you are safe and in good health!

As we are in transition from the auspicious month of “Shravana” to “Bhadrapad”, it’s that time of the year that we eagerly wait to welcome our beloved “Vignaharta – Shree MahaGanapati”. The year 2021 embarks the 53rd year of our Sabha’s Shree Ganeshotsav celebrations starting 10th Sept 2021 to 14th Sept 2021. We are cognizant of the COVID – 19 Pandemic that has translated into these uncertain times. As we are steadily coping up with this situation to emerge out victoriously, we are also mindful that the health and safety of our Samaj Bandhavas is of paramount importance. Hence most of the scheduled functions at our Shree Balaji Mandir (Kurla), were celebrated in a low key manner over the past few months. With the blessings of All Our Parampujya Swamijis, the Working Committee has decided to restrict the magnitude of the Ganeshotsav Celebrations to the bare minimum this year.

The Sabha is extremely conscious of all the guidelines formulated by the Government of Maharashtra as regards the Ganeshotsav celebrations. Further the office bearers are in close discussion with the local Government authorities and we have officially given an undertaking to ensure strict compliance and adherence of the same. One of the key guideline, which is an underlying principle of health security protocol formulated by the Government, is that of SOCIAL DISTANCING. Thus we have officially communicated some of the key guidelines that will be followed while in the due course of the celebrations, as laid under:
? All rituals will be performed as per our traditional practices within our Sabha Precincts.
? No sevas will be booked. Only donations will be accepted with direct credit to Sabha's Bank account or through our official website. (Account details provided below)
? Gandh Prasadam will be sent to the Donors, Shashwat Sevadars and Samaj Bandhavas through post, after the Ganeshotsav function.

We are certain that you will appreciate the above guidelines and support the same, as this is the need of the hour. The Working Committee is making efforts to get you closer than ever to be a part of the celebrations and rituals – by facilitating all to view the entire function live online. The time slots will be informed to you shortly.

We take pride in reinforcing the fact that our two major functions namely the Prathistha Vardanti of Shree Balaji and Shree Ganeshotsav are celebrated in a traditional manner as per the guidance provided by our beloved H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji and the same continues till date with the blessings of H.H Shrimad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji . It has always been an event for our Samaj Bandhavas in Mumbai who wait to witness the sight, as we welcome Shree MahaGanapati at the abode of Shree Balaji. It’s the zeal and enthusiasm of each and every volunteer, devotee, sevadar, donor and members in celebrating these functions that binds us as one Samaj. We have always been appreciative of the support that you have provided us in the form of Tanu, Mana & Dhana. Considering the statutory Government regulations, we sincerely request you to offer your prayers from your place. This year there is no door to door collection campaign as we normally do through our volunteers, however for convenience to book seva (donation) sake we have provided the link below which you may use for remitting donations.
